Although we are still working on our feature horror film which is scheduled to go into pre-production (Funding) in August, we are not sitting on our hands. We are currently also working on a short horror film to be shot as kind of a test subject. The over all theme and feel of the film will be similar to that of the feature and we will be looking at the crew from this short as possible crew for the feature (As the short is unpaid and will take only a few days and the feature will be a paid roll and will take approx a month to shoot)

The script is entering phase 2 (Which I could explain but we do things a little different around here and I don't have enough room to explain the phases... but Phase 2 is a good thing).

The script is currently 45 pages with a projection of approx 120... the final script will be cut down to approx 90 pages as we do not want the final project to run longer than 100 min. if possible.

This film looks to be a great new addition to not only the Archon Films Portfolio of great films, but also to the horror genera.

The premier for Coffee Break and Spy Who Fed Me was a success bringing some actors and crew from both productions to the viewing. DVD's were given out at this event, and for those who have not received a DVD (Those who did not attend the premier) it is coming.

We have packaged the DVD's and have sent them out to the addresses that were supplied on your audition form. Expect 3 to 14 days for delivery as you never know with the USPS.

Archon Films will now be working on Nervous System as a joint production with Non-Drop Frame. Lone Dog Productions has pulled out of the project due to circumstances beyond their control and we wish them the best of luck with future endeavors and hope to work with them in the future.

Nervous System will be taking a slightly different angle now that we have found a new writer for the series and they will be going over the original scripts with a fine toothed comb to make the action more.... actiony. <- I know not a word but it sounds cool.

Barfly Productions will be having a release party for their most recent film "Pyramid Highway on April 26th. You can purchase tickets to this event at their website.

Archon FIlms is working with Screen write Matthew Garcia-Dunn to write a feature screen play to be shot in Nevada, Specificaly; Reno and Tahoe. Currently there have been several producers interested in working on this film and finding the required budget and we are very excited by their enthusiasm but until the script is locked we will not be hiring any one on as a Producer for this film. Since this project is in the development phase more information is not availabe.

"Eyes" or the film formerly known as "Eyes" is still being developed as a feature film and currently has a basic plot outline done and characterization of the main characters. The actual script has not been put into production yet, and may not be put into production until late in 08 due to the screen writers (Timothy Gaer) involvment in the upcoming horror film by Archon Films as he is the principal writer on both projects.

Although "The Spy Who Fed Me" and "Coffee Break" are complete we are holding back the DVD's until the cast party which we are hoping to set a date soon. We have so far had a few locations, but have had trouble negotiating specific times and dates with the owners. Now the big issue is a few upcoming projects that may put it again on hold.

We will NOT be mailing copies to everyone BEFORE the cast party. If you are in need of your copy of the film before the party is set please e-mail me at archonfilms@gmail.com and let me know when you need it by and we can set a date to meet and I will give you your copy. If for some reason you are not able to make it to the cast party THEN we will mail you a copy of the finished project.

So far we have a total of 23 copies of the film to be given out to various cast and crew members.

Archon Films has moved its studio to NW Reno. The new location provides a larger studio, as well as the ability to create sound proofed rooms. There is also a large amount of room for new equipment, and storage for props. The new location also gives the ability to create small sets for projects if needed, and trust me it will be used as much as possible. It is already slated as a location in our upcoming web series, produced by Lone Dog Productions, "Nervous System".

Speaking of "Nervous System"... Archon Films will be working with Lone Dog Productions on a new web series titled "Nervous System" . This new series, although still being kept slightly Hush Hush, will be different from our previous web series "Stay Tuned" where "Stay Tuned" is a comedy reality show, "Nervous System" will be an Action Thriller, mixed with a little drama. The series will be casting before the 15th of March (We Hope) but the exact date is still up in the air due to some prior commitments of some of the crew. We will be shooting a few episodes a month and are looking to premier the show some time in 2008. EXCITED YET? Well you should be, because this show will be one you don't want to miss.

"Spy Who Fed Me" and "Coffee Break" have been re-edited to include 2 names that were missed durring the credit creation. The DVD's are complete and a cast party will be worked on soon. DVD's will be given out at the party, and anyone who is not able to make it will recieve one via standard Postal Service to the address provided on your Actor / Crew contract form. This DVD is a long time coming and it is worth the wait. There are 3 complete films on the DVD (Never Everything, Coffee Break, The Spy Who Fed Me) and there are deleted scenes for both (Coffee Break and The Spy who fed me.) There are some behind the scenes footage and some film tutorials or The Spy Who Fed Me and there is a secret menu which has the 1st feature film that Archon Films made, and the recently picked up, MTV / LOGO exclusive "Red Blue".

Speaking of recently picked up, "Fitness Captured" has wrapped shooting. The cast party was Saturday March 1st. Through the past 4 months Josh Golden has been putting his body through the ring of fire by juggling regular exercize, healthy living, working, and family in order to achieve something that most americans think is impossible... a fit body. Has it worked? Check out his website and find out.

As for new projects: Archon Films will be working on a project that was created almost 5 years ago at East Stroudsburg University in a communications class. The movie was tentitvly titled "Eyes" but will be renamed to suite the changes in the overall screenplay. All that we can release to the public as of now is that Timothy Gaer has been commissioned to write the story, as well as Direct the film, and that the film will be action based.

The film is not on the schedule for production yet, but we are expecting to start shooting some time in 08.

We are currently looking for some one to help with both the website and the marketing of "Stay Tuned". The delays have been because we have not been able to find anyone who is actually willing to commit to helping in these aspects. Once we have a marketing agent (Some one who can implement our plans) and have the site the way we want we will set a release date. We will be scheduling it around a holiday, and will do some lead ins through Youtube.com so do not worry about missing it as there will be ample lead up to the release of the first full episode.

As for the Cast and Crew party. We have been trying to wait until the actual release of the show, but I have been in contact with several of you who are itching for a taste of what is to come, so we will be discussing possible times and locations for a pre-release party where we will show the first 2 episodes. The others you will have to wait until they air on the Web.

As for copies of the show, we will be giving out DVD's to cast and crew at the party (Sorry there will be no extras at this party, so friends and family will have to watch yours) And they will only contain the first two episodes (as to keep the shows offline until we actually put them up). Once the season has completed we will be giving out full copies of the series to all involved.
