So... For anyone who does not know, Archon Films is currently based in Reno NV, and hence we have been shooting in Reno NV. When we cast our most recent film, Switch we hired actors / actress' and crew from Sacramento, Tahoe, and Oregon. We chose people who were the best of the crop or who had a passion. Unfortunately no matter how good, or how passionate some one is there is one force on this earth that can put the ka bosh on all of that... Mother nature.

Nevada got hit with a huge snow storm that closed off passes leading from Oregon, and California for a day and then left enough snow to leave a strict chains / snow tires only restriction on all the mountain passes, and although our cast and crew were more than willing to test the weather we decided it was in everyones best interest to postpone the shoot until a later date.

When is that later date? We are not yet sure, but we are currently looking at a few dates in February as January is a very hectic month for all members of Archon Films and their affiliates. This minor snag, however may be a good omen, as I believe that everything happens for a reason. Perhaps there is something that we are over looking for the shoot that will surface between now and the new shoot date. Only time will tell.

In the mean time I will be working on corrections on previous films (see right column), upcoming films, Premier dates / cast parties, and Stay Tuned. Like I said, a busy month
